Sitting comfortably in an armchair is so pleasant and relaxing, but it's even better after moving!
Moving does not mean being "Jean Le Cam", a great athlete motivated by challenges, or even setting the bar very high!
Maybe move: Walk, stretch, get more flexible, take a few dance steps, take a 20-minute breath of fresh air in nature or in a park.
Everyone at their level, whatever they are, can take care of their "human vehicle" because going further in time is a reality today, our life expectancy being longer and longer, aging in good health is therefore becoming essential. if not, what's the point?
Physical inactivity has become the leading cause of preventable death worldwide. Let’s look inside our body to better understand what is going on there.
Physical activity, at all ages, regardless of health, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease (cerebrovascular accidents and high blood pressure) or metabolic disease and many cancers (breast, colon). It also means promoting an increase in the level of "good" blood cholesterol (HDL), improving mental health and cognitive abilities in children, preserving memory in the elderly (prevention against osteoporosis, reduction of onset of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases): it is now recognized that physical activity and sport (PSA) is one of the most effective means of reducing the onset of non-communicable diseases.
So let's move young and old alike, without fear of thinking that it's not enough…
The little we do is already good. This is the technique of small steps.
Rest will be all the more pleasant... in a good armchair!
