Highly trendy in recent years, Duck Blue, this blue-green color oscillating between turquoise and dark blue has made its appearance in living rooms, bedrooms, and kitchens.
This color has the advantage of pairing with many other colors and always surprises with its originality.
From a design spirit to a cozy feel, Duck Blue enhances both warm and cooler colors.
Naturally elegant, Duck Blue creates a very soft and warm effect when combined with raw materials such as wood, wicker, or ceramic…
My New Design guides you in your Duck Blue style decor!
What colors to associate with Duck Blue?
White
The ideal color to associate with Duck Blue is undoubtedly white! This combination creates a chic and refined atmosphere.
Let's take the example of our ALUDRA Duck Blue armchair: imagine it on a light oak parquet floor, surrounded by white walls, with some natural wood shelves on which a composition of white or colored vases rests, and add 70's style printed curtains.
You will then obtain a lovely classic chic atmosphere, with a very contemporary feel.
Yellow
Duck Blue works wonderfully with honey, mustard, curry, or golden yellow tones.
Well-balanced and combined with more neutral or pastel tones, such as greys, light blues, or nuanced whites, you will then create a Scandinavian style.
By pushing the yellow contrasts further, and adding browns, even taupes, or by adding tangy colors, you will then move towards a more vintage decor.
My new design offers the mustard yellow NAOS, which will blend with these different universes.
Darker colors
In a gradient, from blue to taupe or black, dark colors will bring a deep atmosphere of great elegance to your entrance halls, corridors, or bathrooms!
Adorned with brass wall lights, or black leather armchairs and natural woodwork, your rooms will immerse you in an atmosphere as chic as it is soothing.
As you have understood, Duck Blue is a magnificent backdrop for your creative ideas. As a small touch to contrast a bright and natural atmosphere, or accompanied by woodwork and soothing subdued light, Duck Blue will find its place in your home.
