Assembling My New Design Armchairs
A question that comes up frequently is related to the assembly of our armchairs. Do we need to assemble them? How do we do it? Do we need specific equipment?
We will answer all of these questions in this article!
Different types of armchairs
First, you will find 2 types of armchairs on the site:
- Armchairs in 1 package
- Armchairs in 2 packages
For armchairs delivered in a single package, everything will be delivered together. Some parts will still need assembly, but it will be very simple.
We will therefore focus on the armchairs in our design range to explain simply how to assemble them once received. This is notably the case for our NAOS, VEGA, ANTARES armchairs, and our ALUDRA range.
Don't worry, nothing could be simpler!

Assembly of design armchairs
We deliver the majority of our armchairs with the base and seat separated. In this case, you will find the assembly instructions in one of the packages, as well as the assembly kit with the few necessary tools.
Assembly differs slightly between the different models on the site.
A My New Design armchair delivery therefore includes:
- A package containing the armchair seat
- A package containing the base
- A small bag with a wrench to tighten the nuts (pre-fixed on the base) and the assembly instructions

Overall, once out of their boxes, all that remains is to attach the seat to the base by tightening the pre-installed nuts on the base, and you're done! Your armchair is ready to use to offer you all the relaxation and comfort you need!
For our range of traditional armchairs
Regarding our range of traditional armchairs (relax, electric or senior), each model will differ in its assembly. On some models, for example, it will be necessary to assemble the armrests, on others, to clip the backrest. Rest assured, the assemblies are very simple and accessible to everyone!
